Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974, in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, is an actor popular for her portrayal of Bo in the Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk are parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she teaches the art of drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's very first memories were of going to the play school as well as watching her mother do the work. Her son Levi Aaron was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk is well-known for her role on television in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she was nominated by her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. In 2009 she landed the principal character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Silk fell pregnant while shooting the finale of season three. On January 6, 2013, she revealed this to viewers in the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th that the show would return to production. The fourth season debuted on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN recognized Bo's character with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples ever. E! Magazine also declared it to be the most popular TV couple of the year 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's growth has brought a large online audience using social networks.
